Reverend Willie Edwards, Jr.

Reverend Willie Edwards, Jr. currently resides in Dublin, GA, his birth place and hometown community. A God-fearing family man, he is devoted to his wife, adores his children, and cherishes his grandchildren. He serves as God's Under Shepherd in the stead of Pastor to New Vision Missionary Baptist Church located in the great city of Vidalia, Georgia, where he continues to demonstrate a life of servitude for the Lord.

A professional and spiritual leader, Reverend Edwards has traveled the path of faithfulness and servitude throughout his lifetime. In August of 1984, he enlisted in the United States Army where he served our country selflessly for eleven years and successful completed two years of post-secondary education at Central Texas College. Upon transitioning into the general population, Reverend Edwards procured a position with Westinghouse Security in Norcross, Georgia. Dutiful and faithful, his work ethic accelerated him through the company ranks earning him the position of Sales Manager. Following the Spirit of the Lord in 1996, he relocated to Orlando, Florida. There he continued to serve in the field of home security as the Branch Manager for ADT Security until 1999. As windows of favor opened, he stepped out on faith and in 1999, he returned to Georgia to start his own business, North Star Security, Inc., which he still operates as the sole owner. Since February 2017, employed by Charter Spectrum Communications as the Direct Sales Representative for Laurens County, he has continued to strive towards higher heights by the Grace of God.

Reverend Edwards currently serves the mission of kingdom building as the Vice-President of the 12th District, Assistant Dean to the Congress of the 12th District, and Moderator of the 2nd Rehoboth Missionary Baptist Association. Pressing to live a life of servitude and faithfulness, without question, his heart's desire is to please God Almighty, his creator.

Reverend Edwards is grateful for all the achievements that God has allowed him to obtain in life's endeavors; however, his heart now beats for the New Vision Missionary Baptist Church, the people of Vidalia, and all of Toombs County. He is excited about being used as God's instrument for the betterment of God's people in our community.
